WPC ROMA 2022 Locations
Only two venues will host the whole event: the Studio Orizzonte Gallery and the “Roma Eventi Piazza di Spagna” theatre and congress center. The Studio Orizzonte Gallery will act as a meeting point for accreditations, the scheduled seminars and meetings will take place there, and will host a sponsor area and an exhibition of the WPC winning photos. The SOG is an elegant and very modern multifunctional space, located in the exclusive Parioli district. The Roma Eventi Piazza di Spagna is the congress center which will host the FEP and WPC ceremonies and the subsequent dinner parties, as well as a FEP General Assembly. It is very near the Spanish Steps.

From the Studio Orizzonte Gallery to the Roma Eventi Piazza di Spagna, with public transportation, take the BUS 910 from stop “Bartoloni” to “Repubblica”. Then take METRO line A to Spagna (2 stops)
Important information to attend the event because of COVID-19
To participate in our event and in all the individual initiatives it is necessary to be in compliance with the Italian safety regulations which are due to pandemic. These regulations must be checked before to come. Planning your travel, you also need to verify what is mandatory to come to Italy in particular from your country at Covid-19 – Viaggiatori (salute.gov.it)
How to participate to WPC ROMA 2022 event
Participation is through “Eventbrite” tickets, available visiting the WPC website. We ask you to hurry with the registrations, and to buy your tickets without waiting for the last moment, for many reasons: it will allow you to get cheaper flights and better accommodation, and we will better organize the whole event without having to do “somersaults” in the last few days. Some of the tickets allow free admission, others forcibly have a limited number of spots and some events are accessible with a fee.
Rome has two international airports, the main hub being the Leonardo da Vinci in Fiumicino. To reach Termini Station from Fiumicino you can go by the “Leonardo Express” train, a NON STOP train which costs
14,00 euro per person with departing every 30 minutes (info and tickets HERE or by the bus “Terravision”, which costs 4,00 euro per person (info and tickets HERE). Otherwise, the taxi costs around 40-50 euro. More detailed information aboout Fiumicino Airport HERE
There is also a smaller airport called Ciampino, which is served by more or less only the low-cost airlines. To reach Termini Station from Ciampino you can use the bus Terravision (see above), or take the taxi which costs around 40-50 euro. More detailed information HERE
Watch out! There are limitations to access public transportation due to Covid-19 regulations!

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION INSIDE THE CITY
Remember, if you want to use the public transportation system in Rome, you need to purchase your tickets in advance (and only use reliable places for that!) Ticket inspectors frequently visit the busses, trams and metro, and without a valid ticket you will be fined! Tickets options are : BIT (€ 1.50) Valid for 100 minutes/ ROMA 24H (€ 7.00) / ROMA 48H (€ 12.50) / ROMA 72H (€ 18.00). GREEN PASS (VACCINATION) and FACE-MASKS are MANDATORY to access public transportation.
