WPC 2023 judging phase and next steps

The WPC 2023 , the edition which completes the first decade of uninterrupted competition closed on October 25 with 32 National Teams coming from all over the world. At the entries closure, alle the images have been checked by a validation committee and now the judging phase is in progress. About 30 judges are working hard since the beginning of November to value more than 750 photos coming from very different countries and cultures. It is not an easy task!

“The Governing Committee of WPC would like to express its sincere appreciation to all the judges for the dedicated effort to share their vision, knowledge and experience to the results. The wonderful success of WPC is the global photographic community working together to showcase images of the world we live in and with so many countries, so many judges we can truly say this is a world wide experience” said Don McGregor, WPC Governing Committee member and Chairman of the WPC Judging Committee.

Judging will close on November 20. The finalists will be announced, as every year, live online, at Imaging USA (Nashville, TN) on January 23 at 7pm local time. The judging for the 2023 Competition is nearly complete and everyone is excited to see the results of the top ten images at Imaging USA in January. You will all receive notice of the links to video streaming of the finalists soon. The annual winners announcement ceremony will be held on March 17, at Singapore.

Good luck to all Teams also from ChromaLuxe, our Gold Sponsor: “As Gold Sponsor of the event, we are excited to see the results. It is of course up to the judges now!
